Grind is our street project…trying to intersect minimal sculpture with skateboarding style.

Since the godfathers of modern skating the true mavericks were riding on ready made spots, remember the z-boys back in the 70ies freestyling on Los Angeles empty pools.

We thought to Grind as an hybrid between a ramp and a grind rail, in reality its true function is to be a long public bench…but it is a ready-made waiting for the riders…the name which refers to a popular skating trick pays hommage to the acrobatic air twirls that are celebrated in one of the two extremes of the sculpture where the linear minimal design is suddenly subject to an extreme torsion.

Upon request we are able to offer a best-in-class bespoke service to develop and produce special finishes and customized measures and shapes according to the most demanding needs even they are for a classical or a contemporary setting, residential or commercial applications.
